Privacy Policy

1. Information We Process

• Authentication: Firebase anonymous identifier; name, email, and profile photo provided by login providers such as Google or Apple
• Trip data: trip name, city/country, dates, budget, expenses, members and settlement info
• Media: trip covers, memory photos, and receipt images you upload
• Payout convenience: bank name, account number, account holder you optionally register
• Device/service data: device and app identifiers needed for operation and authentication, and error logs

2. Purpose of Use

• Provide trip planning, budgeting, expense tracking, and settlement among members
• Store memory photos and provide review features such as the journey map and memory movie
• Login, account linking, data sync, and service stability
• Respond to inquiries and investigate errors

3. Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service. When you delete a trip, photo, payout account, or your account, related information is deleted without undue delay; backups may be purged on a rolling operational schedule. Where the law requires separate retention, we keep such data for the required period.

4. Third Parties and Processing

Chaebi does not sell your personal data or provide it to third parties for advertising. To operate the service we use Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Hosting, Functions), where Google performs cloud infrastructure processing. Data may be processed on servers located outside your country.

5. Sharing of Payout Account

A payout account is optional and may be shown to logged-in members to assist with trip settlement. Please consider this before registering one. Chaebi does not execute transfers or process payments using account information.

6. Your Rights

You can view, edit, and delete your trips, photos, and payout account in the app, including in-app account deletion. For account/full-data deletion or privacy inquiries, contact the email below.

7. Security Measures

We verify authentication and member permissions via Firebase Security Rules, apply encryption in transit, and follow least-privilege principles. Sensitive values such as account numbers are not recorded in analytics logs.
